Massachusetts Remembers: The Blizzard of '78

Grab your scarf, hat, and mittens, and zip up your coat.  We’re traveling back to February 1978 to experience the catastrophic nor'easter that we now call the Blizzard Of  ’78.

Let’s make our way through the 27.1 inches of snow that fell over the course of 33 hours to assist the 3,000 cars and 500 trucks stranded along an eight-mile stretch of Route 128.  We’ll stop at homes, roads, and infrastructure destroyed by tidal flooding and violent winds.  Feeling chilled?  Stories of kindness, cooperation, and courage will warm you up.
